Two local organisations, in particular, have celebrated enduring partnerships with us. The Hotel Renmark, a longstanding ally, has generously provided the revered Renmark Hotel Shield as a prestigious trophy for the Maiden Eights (3rd Grade) category since 1922.
It was with great pride that the Mannum Rowing Club claimed the inaugural honour. Over the years, the Renmark Rowing Club has triumphed in this esteemed competition on an impressive 13 occasions, and the shield continues to be awarded to this day, a symbol of our club & enduring commitment to excellence.
Similarly, Angove Family Winemakers, led by the Angove family, have been instrumental in our journey. T.C. Angove Esq. inaugurated the Angove Challenge Cup for Maiden Fours (3rd Grade) back in 1922, with the Adelaide Rowing Club securing the inaugural victory. Renmark has celebrated victory in this category on 7 memorable occasions, and this historic cup remains a cherished part of our club’s tradition.
For over a century, both the Hotel Renmark and the Angove Family have stood by our side, offering unwavering support and belief in our mission. We extend our heartfelt thanks to these organizations for their steadfast commitment throughout our remarkable 104-year journey. Their support has been instrumental in shaping the Renmark Rowing Club’s legacy and ensuring that our traditions and achievements continue to thrive.
